Men's Golf Finishes Seventh in Final Tournament

KAHUKU, O'ahu - Baylor shot 276 in the third round to finish in seventh place at the Turtle Bay Resort Intercollegiate. The 276 is the second-lowest round of the fall season for Baylor who finished the tournament at 34-under par. The Bears three-round total of 830 (274-280-276) is the third-lowest in Baylor history. Baylor's lowest score of 789 came in 2006 at The Maxwell, while the second-lowest tournament score of 823 was at the Baylor Henry Griffitts Classic during the 2001 season. Cody Paladino led the way for the Bears with a third-round 66 to finish the tournament at 13-under par in a tie for eighth place overall. Paladino's three-round total of 203 (67-70-66) ranks as the fourth-best total in Baylor history, tying Jeremy Alcorn's 203 at the University Club Intercollegiate in 2004. Colton Williams fired a second consecutive round of 70 to finish the tournament at 7-under par in a tie for 32nd place. Wes Williams finished the tournament with a third-round 71 to finish in 36th place at 6-under par. Jeff Gerlich, who shot 69 on Monday, carded another round of 69 to finish at 6-under par in a tie for 36th overall. Bill Allcorn shot 75 on Wednesday to finish the tournament at 2-over par and in a tie for 80th place. Baylor ends its fall season with top 10 finishes in all five fall tournaments. The Bears also managed three top five finishes and claimed the team title at the Saint Mary's College Invitational.
