WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Baylor men's golf team turned in a 317 for a 36-hole total of 938 and remained in 24th after two rounds Friday at the NCAA Central Regional hosted by Purdue at the 7,259-yard, par-72 Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

Freshman Jeremy Frye (Palestine, Texas) is tied for 62nd at 154 with his second striaght 77. Senior Jon Antunes (Belton, Texas) is tied for 109th at 160 (80-81), while junior Ryan Baca is tied for 121st with a 163 (84-79).

Freshman Jeremy Alcorn (Brownwood, Texas) and senior Will Doughtie (Amarillo, Texas) are each tied at 164. Alcorn shot 80-84, while Doughtie was reversed at 84-80.

Kentucky (583) grabbed the lead from first-round leader Oklahoma State (585), which is two strokes back in second. Texas (594), Texas A&M (595) and Purdue (597) are bunched up to round out the top five. Kentucky's Brandon Waldrop leads the individual competiton at 4-under par 140 (70-70), while Texas' Jason Hartwick is two strokes back at 142 (69-73). Three others are tied at 143.

The tournament wraps up with the third and final round Saturday. The top 10 teams advance to the NCAA Championships June 1-4 at The Homestead Cascades Course in Hot Springs, Va.
