Men's Golf In Second After Two Rounds In Tennessee

Franklin, Tennessee- Senior Worth Williams and freshman Jon Antunes are currently tied for fifth place in the Belmont Invitational and the Baylor men's golf team is in second place heading into the final round at the Legends Club. The Bears shot a 288 and 286 to put themselves in striking distance of Louisiana-Lafayette, who currently leads the tournament with a 570. Host Belmont (579), Austin Peay (580), and Tennesse Tech (584) round out the top five heading into Tuesday's final round. Individually, Baylor has four players in the top fifteen after two rounds. Senior Worth Williams and freshman Jon Antunes both shot a 73 and 70 to finish the day tied for fifth with a 143. Also, senior Brandon Sanders (70-75) and freshman Adam Meyer (73-72) both finished the day tied for 14th with a 145. Senior Jimmy Walker shot a 72 and 74 to finish tied for 22nd after two rounds.
The final 18 holes will be played Tuesday at the Legends Club (Par 71, 6744 Yards).
