WACO, Texas - Baylor's Terrance Thomas was selected to the United States Basketball Writers Association 2004 All-District 7 team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Thomas was one of 10 student-athletes named to the USBWA's all-district team, which is made up of players from Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas and selected by regional sportswriters.

Thomas, a senior from Dallas, was a co-captain for the Bears this season and led the team in scoring, averaging 15.9 points per game. The 6-6 forward also led Baylor in rebounding with 6.9 per contest and totaled six double-doubles on the season.

Monday Thomas was named to the Big 12's All-Underrated team, selected by the Associated Press.
