High School: Four-year letterwinner in both track and field and cross country at Cleburne High School in Cleburne, Texas, for coaches Richard Naylor and Coby Bird...Three-time all-state cross country selection for the Yellow Jackets...Four-time regional qualifier and two-time regional bronze medalist...District champion as a junior and senior and district runner-up as a freshman and sophomore...On the track, earned all-state honors in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters and was a two-time state qualifier in both events...Was a four-time regional qualifier, with three runner-up finishes and one bronze medal...Claimed the district titles as a junior and senior...Clocked personal bests of 11:03.18 in the 3,200 meters and 5:01.29 in the 1,600 meters...Earned Senior Hall of Fame honors and the All A's in High School and four-year academic excellence awards...Member of the UIL academic poetry and prose and UIL one act play teams...Also active in Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Whistle Stop Christmas, Christmas in April and many other community service activities.
