BOSTON, Mass. - Junior Shir Castel scored her team-leading third and fourth goals of the season to lead the Babson College women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over host Emmanuel College on Thursday afternoon. With the win, the Beavers evened their season record at 2-2-0, while the Saints dropped to 2-2-1.

Castel gave Babson a 1-0 lead at the 12-minute mark, as she headed in a cross for the game's first goal. She then converted a feed from sophomore Kayla Pomponi at 63;04 to make it 2-0, and Emmanuel managed just one late score with 34 seconds left as the Beavers claimed the 2-1 win.

Sophomore Sam Scarpato and first-year Kristy Benoit split time in net for Babson, finishing with two saves apiece.
