Lin Earns Singles Victory At Polar Bear Men's Tennis Tourney

BABSON PARK, Mass. - The Babson men's tennis team wrapped up its opening weekend at the Polar Bear Round Robin Invitational at Bowdoin on Sunday. The Beavers' finished the weekend with three victories, although no team scores were kept for the event.

Sophomore Ken Lin recorded Babson's lone victory during Sunday's play, as he defeated Josh Roer of Bowdoin in a thrilling three-set affair. Roer cruised in the opening set, 6-1, but Lin rallied to take the second set, 6-2, before winning a grueling battle in the third, 11-9.

Babson will travel to Roger Williams for its first team match of the season on Thursday. That contest will begin at 3:30 p.m.
