Who's on the Schedule This Week

Auburn plays host to the SEC East foes South Carolina and Kentucky this weekend. The USC match is slated for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31 and those that arrive in costume will win free prizes and candy for all. Sunday is Girl Scout Day and there will be free ice cream with the team following the 1:30 p.m. match.

The Tigers on Halloween

Auburn will be playing on Halloween for just the sixth time since 1986. The Tigers are 2-3 when playing on the holiday, having defeated Georgia Tech, 3-1, in 1989 and Mississippi State, 3-0, in 1992. Unfortunately, the Tigers have been spooked by South Carolina in 1993 (3-1), Arkansas in 1997 (3-1) and Mississippi State in 1999 (3-2).

Sweet Home Alabama

The Auburn volleyball squad has already secured seven home wins this season, the most since the Tigers won 11 on the Plains in 1999, which is also the Auburn record.

Tigers Among SEC Leaders

Ashlee Johns' 4.00 kpg is the sixth-best mark in the conference. Maira Mogollon's 11.04 assists per game is also among the conference leaders, ranking seventh while her service aces mark of 0.58 is tops in the SEC. Kameshia Melton is also among the service aces leaders, holding a 0.37 mark, which ranks eighth.
