  • Florida improved to 9-19 all-time in SEC tournament
  • The Gators are 4-7 in the first round of the SEC Tournament.
  • Senior Melissa Zick's RBI single in the third extended her school-record hitting streak to 15 games.
  • Sophomore Ali Gardiner recorded her 15th multiple-hit game of the season.
  • Kim Waleszonia went 1-for-3, extending her hitting streak to nine games.
  • The Gators won in the SEC Tournament for the first time since 2003.
  • Florida recorded its first win over Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament. The Gators were previously 0-3 against the Bulldogs.
  • The shutout was Florida's 21st of the season.
  • Stacey Nelson recorded her 11th shutout and 35 complete game of the season, both UF sophomore records.

  • Mississippi State fell to 12-16 all-time in SEC tournament.
  • The Bulldogs are 3-6 in the first round of the SEC
  • The Bulldogs were held to their fewest hits since being no-hit by UC-Davis Feb. 16.
  • Courtney Bures went 0-for-1, snapping her nine-game hitting streak.
