AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn junior defender Ronda Brooks was named to the NSCAA All-Region Team, the organization has announced.

A captain of the 2005 SEC Tournament Championship finalist team and the MVP of the conference tournament, Brooks anchored a back line that allowed just 28 goals on the season, posting six shutouts on the season. One of just four Tigers to start all 21 matches this past season, she tallied a team-best five goals, which included three game-winners, and added two assists.

This is the second consecutive season that Brooks was named to the All-Region first team and marks the sixth straight season that the Tigers have had at least one player named to the All-Region team.

Brooks was also voted to the All-SEC First Team earlier this season.
