AUBURN, Ala. - Ronda Brooks was named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week after her two game-winning goals helped Auburn advance to the championship game of the Southeastern Conference Soccer Tournament last weekend in Orange Beach.

Brooks, a junior from Marietta, Ga., put in the game-winning goal during the 72nd minute of Auburn's 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Florida in the first round of the conference tournament as she collected a ball at her feet after a Courtney Crandell corner kick.

The next day Brooks hooked-up with Crandell again on a corner as she headed in the first goal in Auburn's 2-0 victory over Kentucky that sent the Tigers to the championship game for just the second time in school history.

At the conclusion of the tournament Brooks, who was voted to the All-SEC First Team earlier in the week, was named the Tournament MVP as she anchored a back line that allowed just two goals in three games.
