AUBURN, Ala. - sophomore defender Jenn Johnson has been voted to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District (IV) women's soccer first team, it was announced on Thursday.

Johnson, from Loganville, Ga., was voted to the district's first team after carrying a 4.0 grade point average in her sciences and math curriculum. She was the only first-team selection in the district, which covers the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee, to earn a 4.0.

On the field, Johnson has played and started all 19 games on the backline for Auburn this season. She currently leads the Tigers in minutes played and has assisted on three goals this season.

Johnson will now go on the national ballot.
