Nicole Hage Opens Play At U.S. Open Thursday

Auburn, Ala. - Recent Auburn graduate Nicole Hage will be taking part in her fourth U.S. Open beginning Thursday at the par 71, 6,644-yard Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C. The tournament will run through Sunday and will be televised daily.

Hage returns for the third straight year and fourth overall after missing the cut after the first two rounds in four prior attempts. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the 60 lowest scores and any player tying for 60th place or anyone within 10 strokes of the leader.

Hage will tee off of the first hole on Thursday at 2:20 p.m. ET with Dana Dormann (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Hee Young Park (South Korea) and on Friday off of the 10th hole at 8:50 a.m. ET.

Thursday and Friday's rounds will be broadcast on ESPN from 2-6 p.m. ET. Saturday and Sunday's competition can be seen on NBC from 3-6 p.m. ET. For more information on the U.S. Women's Open, please visit the official web site at www.uswomensopen.com.
