Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you “grew up?”
A: “I wanted to be a lawyer. Then I changed my mind and I wanted to be a fireman. You know when you’re a kid you keep changing it. So I wanted to be a lawyer, then a fireman, then a wrestler.”
Q: If you had to eat the same meal everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: “Fried chicken with rice on the side.”
Q: What has motivated you to get involved in working with kids?
A: “Just giving back. Where I come from, a lot of kids don’t have the opportunities for someone to come talk to them, someone who’s been there. I just like to give back because I love kids and doing it out of the kindness of my heart. Not because I have to.”
Q: What’s more important, education or experience?
A: “Education because that’s something nobody can take away from you. You can always get experience.”
Q: What would you do on a “free” day, a day with no obligations?
A: “Play video games all day.”
Q: Which do you prefer the beach or the mountains?
A: “The beach.”
Q: What’s your favorite time of day?
A: “Noon because it is lunch time.”
Q: What makes you a leader?
A: “Being a leader means going with what’s right, not who’s right. It’s knowing that being a leader means a lot of folks won’t like what you do, but you’ll get respect. Just knowing that being a leader you can lose a lot of friends, but you’ll also gain a lot of respect.”
