Auburn Football's First Two Games to be Televised by ESPN, JP Sports

AUBURN - The first two games of the 2005 Auburn football season against Georgia Tech on Sept. 3 and Mississippi State on Sept. 10, both at Jordan-Hare Stadium, will be televised, announced the Southeastern Conference Monday.  The season-opener against Georgia Tech will be aired by ESPN beginning at 7:45 p.m. CT, while the Tigers game against Mississippi State will start at 11:30 a.m. CT and be televised by JP Sports.

Auburn is 32-23-2 all-time on ESPN and has appeared on the all-sports network six times in the last two seasons.  The Tigers have posted a 15-6 mark on JP Sports winning five consecutive on the network since 2003.

The 2005 home opener against Georgia Tech is designated as the “All Auburn, All Orange” game.

The remainder of Auburn's television schedule will be announced as the season progresses.
