Charlotte extended its unbeaten streak to nine matches after edging Richmond, 2-1 (OT), on Oct. 14 as freshman midfielder Sam Huecker (Crestwood, Ky.) recorded her first career game-winning goal. The 49ers visit Xavier on Oct. 19 and Dayton on Oct. 21.

Sophomore Mandi Bäck (North Olmsted, Ohio) tallied her fourth game-winning goal of the year on Oct. 12 as Dayton earned a 2-1 (2OT) win at Duquesne. Bäck registered a career-best nine shots as the Flyers and St. Bonaventure played to a scoreless tie on Oct. 14...

Duquesne senior Audra Mathews (Cincinnati, Ohio) had four points in the Dukes' 4-0 victory over Xavier. Mathews scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season and 21st of her career, tops in program history.

Junior forward Kim Boulos (Croton, N.Y.) scored a pair of goals in Fordham's 3-1 win versus Temple on Oct. 12 and tallied the game-winner in the Rams' 2-0 victory over Saint Joseph's on Oct. 14. Boulos has scored at least one goal in four consecutive matches.

George Washington dropped a 1-0 decision at Saint Louis on Oct. 14 despite nine saves by junior keeper Amie Kern (Saylorsburg, Pa.). The Colonials host Richmond on Oct. 20.

La Salle senior forward Kristin Hextall (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) tallied her ninth goal of the season on Oct. 14 as La Salle turned aside Temple, 3-0. Hextall ranks second in school history with 69 career points, while the Explorers' 31 goals are tied for the fourth-highest single-season total in program annals.

Sophomore forward Cristina Adams (Braintree, Mass.) recorded a career-high three points in Massachusetts' 3-2 (OT) loss to Rhode Island on Oct. 11. The Minutewomen host Fordham on Oct. 19 and La Salle on Oct. 21.

Rhode Island junior forward Dora Larusdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland) scored the tying goal and assisted on the eventual game-winner as the Rams edged UMass, 3-2 (OT). URI visits Brown on Oct. 16 in its final non-conference match of the season.
 

 

Richmond dropped a 2-1 (OT) decision at Charlotte on Oct. 14 despite a goal by junior midfielder Jessica Wolfe (Germantown, Md.), her team-leading fourth of the year. UR visits George Washington on Oct. 20, the third of four straight road contests for the Spiders.

Freshman keeper Amanda Prestigiacomo (Rochester, N.Y.) registered her first career shutout after making 10 saves in St. Bonaventure's scoreless tie with Dayton on Oct. 14. Bona's two-match unbeaten streak in Conference play is its longest since 2004.

Saint Joseph's fell at Fordham on Oct. 14, 2-0, despite a game-high five saves by sophomore goalie Megan Bastianelli (Bear, Del.). SJU returns home to face St. Bonaventure on Oct. 19 and Duquesne on Oct. 21.

Saint Louis extended its unbeaten streak to six games with a 1-0 win over George Washington on Oct. 14 on sophomore midfielder Kristen Sapienza's (St. Louis, Mo.) first career game-winning goal. The Billikens visit Dayton on Oct. 19 and Xavier on Oct. 21.

Temple suffered a 3-0 loss at La Salle on Oct. 14 despite eight saves by freshman keeper Kara Williams (Stratford, Conn.). The Owls return home to face Duquesne on Oct. 19 and St. Bonaventure on Oct. 21.

Xavier dropped a 4-3 decision at St. Bonaventure on Oct. 12, the Musketeers' fourth one-goal loss of the season. XU hosts Charlotte on Oct. 19 and Saint Louis on Oct. 21.
