2007 XC: Did not compete during the season... 2007 Track: Redshirted... 2006 XC: Redshirted... ran in three races unattached, placing in the Top 10 twice... took eighth at the Canyon West Classic and ninth in the ASU Invitational. High School: A 2006 graduate of Murrieta Valley High School (Murrieta, Calif.)... lettered four times each in cross country and track & field for the Nighthawks... in cross country, scored for the team all four years at the CIF meet... won the Southwestern League once... twice earned All-Southern Section honors in cross country after finishing sixth in 2005 and seventh in 2004... placed fifth at the 2005 state CIF meet... team placed in the Top 5 at the state CIF meet all four years, including third place in 2003, fourth in 2002 and 2004 and fourth in 2005... on the track, won three league titles and added a fourth-place showing in the 3,200m run at the Southern Section... finished fourth in the state at 3,200m in 2005... all told, earned eight all-county selections and won three county championships... named MVHS Athlete of the Year as a senior... selected team captain for both squads his final two seasons.
