UAB Softball Faces Southern Miss In Three-Game Set

April 13, 2006

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The UAB softball team will travel to Hattiesburg, Miss., this weekend for a three-game series with Southern Miss. The Blazers and Golden Eagles will play a doubleheader Friday at 5 p.m., with the final game Saturday at 1 p.m.

UAB is 24-16 overall and 10-5 in Conference USA. The Blazers enters the series on a four-game winning streak after sweeping UCF last weekend in a three-game set. UAB is tied for second in the C-USA standings with Marshall and has a two-game lead on USM.
