BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- UAB Athletics will hold its annual Blazer Day on Sunday, March 13 with the Blazers' football and baseball teams highlighting the day's activities.

The UAB Spring Football Game will begin at 2:30 at West Campus Field while the Blazers' baseball game with Tennessee Tech - game three of the series -- at Young Memorial Field gets underway 1:00 p.m.

Before either of those contests gets started, an appreciation lunch for UAB season ticket holders and donors will be held starting at 12:30 p.m. at Young Memorial Field just prior to the first pitch of the baseball contest.

As in the past, both the football spring game and the baseball game will be free to the public.

In addition to the athletic events, Blazer Village inflatables will be set up at West Campus Field for children, and concessions will also be available throughout the football scrimmage.

UAB is in its second week of spring football practice, having begun spring drills on Tuesday, February 22.
