Emerged as one of the top players in the Big Ten during his two seasons at Indiana under head coach Mike Davis ... his versatility enabled him to lead the Hoosiers in assists (109) and steals (38), while also ranking second on the squad in scoring (13.5 ppg) and rebounding (5.5 rpg) during the 2005-06 campaign ... started every game for IU during his two seasons, running his consecutive start streak to 60 games, the most by an IU player since Jared Jeffries started 70 consecutive games from 2001-2003 .. named All-Big Ten honorable mention by both the media and league head coaches in 2006 and to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2005 ... hit 12 straight three-pointers during a three-game stretch against Butler (4-of-4), Ball State (6-of-6) and Michigan (hit first two attempts), which fell only three short of the NCAA Division I record of 15 ... hit a school record-tying eight three-point field goals on his way to a career-high 26 points against Iowa ... recorded three double-doubles during the campaign ... earned his first Big Ten Player of the Week honor on Jan. 2 with a terrific performance at Ball State in which he set a school record going a perfect 6-of-6 from three-point range ... finished with a team-high 18 points and three assists in 36 minutes in the NCAA Tournament first-round win over San Diego State ... finished freshman campaign as both the team's third-leading scorer (10.2) and rebounder (4.3) ... also led IU in free throw percentage (.803) and total minutes (980) as a freshman.
