Feb. 17, 2007 Alabama A&M lost for the second straight game Saturday, a hard-fought 4-3 decision that went to Western Illinois. The Leathernecks took the lead in the seventh on a two-run homer by Travis Check and held on for the victory. A&M led much of the game boosted by another strong pitching performance from Bernard McKinney, who went 7.0 innings giving up six hits and four runs, three of which were earned. Alton Ellison went 3-4 and drove in a run to lead the offense. |
