FAIRBANKS, AK -The University of Alaska Fairbanks Department of Athletics will hold its annual end-of-season All-Sports Banquet Friday, May 4 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Fairbanks Princess Hotel in the Edgewater Room.

Bart LeBon, Executive Vice President for Commercial Lending at Mt. McKinley Bank and former UAF basketball player (1972-1974) will be the Master of Ceremony.

This is the athletic department's premier end-of-the-year event and in addition to the recognition of each team's Most Valuable Player and Dr. Wood Scholar-Athlete will be the naming of the Humanitarian of the Year, the Harris Shelton Spirit of Competition recipient, the Intercollegiate Athletics Committee male and female student-athlete of the year, and the Athletic Director's Coach of the Year.

The public is invited to join the coaches and staff in recognizing student-athletes for their 2006-2007 achievements. The cost for the dinner event is $40 and tickets for must be purchased in advance.
