Garden City, N.Y. - Freshman Christina Vandling has been named the NYCAC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. Vandling had a solid week as the Panthers remain in the NCAA Tournament hunt with a sweep of three matches.

The 6-4 middle blocker from Endicott, N.Y. amassed 29 kills with a .458 percentage and 12 blocks in conference wins over New Haven and Molloy and she added 16 kills in a four-set non-conference win against Pace.

The Panthers return to action on Tuesday, November 2, completing their regular season at home with a conference match against Southampton College at 7 pm.
