Oct. 30, 2006 Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi volleyball team finished the 2006 regular season with a mark of 14-11 overall. The Panthers also posted a 5-4 conference mark, earning the fifth seed in the East Coast Conference tournament, a three-place improvement from a year ago. By virtue of their fifth seed the Panthers will travel to fourth seeded C.W. Post on November 1 for a 7:00 pm match-up in the Pratt Center. Adelphi has a 4-12 all-time record against the Pioneers, including a 3-1 win over C.W. Post in Woodruff Hall this season. The winner of the Adelphi - C.W. Post match will face the winner of #1 Dowling and #8 Concordia. The semifinals will take place on November 4 and the finals will be played on November 5. To follow Adelphi vs. C.W.
