East Stroudsberg, Penn. - The Adelphi University women's volleyball team defeated East Stroudsberg University, 29-31, 30-27, 30-26, 16-30, 15-11, in a non-conference match on Friday. With the win, the Panthers improve to 6-12 on the season.

Freshman Rachael Cornick led Adelphi with 17 kills and tied a career-best 27 digs along with three service aces. Sophomore Meaghan Joyce also registered a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs. Freshman Kelly Campbell also recorded double figures, collected 12 kills for Adelphi. Freshman Brittany Addeo dished out 43 assists along with 13 digs.

The Panthers return to action on Saturday, traveling to Philadelphia University for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
