Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. - Adelphi dropped to 5-11 overall and 2-4 in the NYCAC with a 3-0 loss to Mercy last night. Mercy improved to 11-9 overall and 5-2 in NYCAC play. Mercy took the first game 30-20, but in each of the next two games the Panthers seemed to get stronger, dropping the second game 30-25. Adelphi just ran out of time when they lost the third game and the match 31-29.

Adelphi returns to action Tuesday, October 21st, when they play host to Dowling College in a 7 pm NYCAC match-up.
