William Corrao is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the volleyball program. Corrao comes to Adelphi with experience as both an assistant and a head coach at the high school level as well as at the club level. Corrao has been on the volleyball staff at St. Anthony's High School since 2004, spending the 2004 season as an assistant girl's coach before ascending to head coach in 2005. He has an overall record of 32-5 as a head coach and is a two-time league champion. Corrao has also been the assistant boy's coach since 2004, helping the team to a record of 19-24. In addition, he has coached the girls 14 National Team at the Island Volleyball Academy for the last year and has helped that squad achieve a ranking of eighth in the GEVA open division. Corrao has also held positions as head counselor and assistant counselor at the Island Volleyball Academy in addition to coaching the girls 16 Regional Team and volunteering with the girls 18 Elite Team. A 2004 graduate of St. John's University, Corrao currently resides in Commack, New York. |
