Manhattan, N.Y. - Adelphi sophomore Claudia Nunez (Aventura, FL) was named New York Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis Co-Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on September 20. Nunez shares this honor with Queens College junior Dominika Bajuk (Howard Beach, N.Y.).

Nunez remained undefeated at first flight singles this season, picking up two more wins against Molloy and Philadelphia. Nunez dropped just 10 games combined in her two wins, helping the Panthers improve to 3-2 on the season.

The women's tennis team returns to action on Thursday, September 22 when they travel to Sparkill, New York to face NYCAC opponent St. Thomas Aquinas.
