Hempstead Lake State Park, NY - The Panthers struggled against Philadelphia University in their home opener at Hempstead Lake State Park losing 8-1. The Lady Rams, who now increase their record to 2-0, won all three double matches and only saw defeat in the singles.

Daniella Sanderson (Valsayn, Trinidad and Tobago) was Adelphi's lone winner in the singles, defeating Liz Sweeney 6-4 / 6-0.

The Panthers will next travel to face the Caldwell Cougars on September, 5th at 3:30pm.
