Markland Kelly Goalie of the Year as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) on Saturday, June 10 at the awards banquet held in Baltimore, MD. Demasi leaves Adelphi as a three-time first-team All-American. She helped the Panthers capture two NCAA titles in 2004 and 2006. She has also been named a first-team All-North Region selection in each of the past three years. Murphy guided the Panthers to a record-setting 16-1 season, while allowing just 6.1 goals per game, ranking her first in Division II. Her 0.567 save percentage ranked her second in the nation. Murphy is a two-time All-America and was the winning goalkeeper on both national championship teams for Adelphi. She was named to the 2006 NCAA All-Tournament Team after combining for 19 saves in the Final Four.
