Lisle, Illinois - For the third season in a row the Adelphi women's lacrosse team is preparing to play for a Division II National Title. The Panthers (14-1) will take on C.W. Post (16-1) at 12:30 am (Eastern Time) on May 13 with a spot in the National Final on the line. In their only meeting this year the Pioneers pulled out a 14-13 win in overtime.

Adelphi has faced C.W. Post on seven occasions and trail the Pioneers, 5-2, in the all-time series. The last time that Adelphi topped C.W. Post was on May 7, 2005, the Panthers picked up a 13-12 win, earning a spot in last year's Final Four. The Panthers also topped the Pioneers in the 2004 National Semifinal, 11-10, en route to Adelphi's first NCAA Championship.

The winner of the Adelphi - C.W. Post game will take on the winner the Limestone (16-3) - West Chester (17-2) game at 1:06 pm (Eastern Time) on May 14. The National Final will be broadcast live by CSTV.
