Dear Panther fans, We are extremely excited about the upcoming Basketball season. We have eight returning lettermen back and have added three high quality transfers. The best part of coaching these young men is that they are truly student-athletes, and they are all terrific young men. We open the season on November 15 at home vs. UMass-Lowell. We feel that this can be an outstanding year as we have a great deal of experienced players, and very likely the deepest core of talented players in some time. These young men are working extremely hard as they know that we have a rich tradition to uphold and build upon. If anyone is interested in supporting our program we are conducting a reverse raffle on December 15th following the Concordia game. Raffle tickets are $100 and we will only sell 200 tickets. The grand prize is $10,000, or one half of the raffle proceeds, depending on the number of tickets sold. The rest of the proceeds will go directly to the men's basketball program for equipment, travel expenses, etc. Winners need not be present at the drawing.
