Gainesville, Fla. ----- The NCAA Women's Tennis Committee on Sunday morning unveiled the draws for the 64-player NCAA Singles Championship and the 32-team NCAA Doubles Championship. North Carolina is represented in the singles competition by Kate Pinchbeck, Marlene Mejia and Aniela Mojzis. The UNC tandem of Mojzis and Kendall Cline will play in the doubles tournament and because they are one of the top eight seeds, the duo has earned All-America honors.

The NCAA Singles Championship begins Monday morning at the Ring Tennis Complex, while the NCAA Doubles Championship gets underway on Tuesday afternoon. One round of each event will be played every day, culminating with the finals occurring on Saturday, May 24.

Pinchbeck, ranked 13th in the country, will face Florida's Julia Scaringe. Last season, Pinchbeck advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament. Mejia will face Duke's Saras Arasu. Although Duke and Carolina have met three times this season, Mejia and Arasu have yet to play each other. Mojzis is matched against Kentucky's Nathalie Roels. Earlier this season, Mojzis defeated Roels, 6-1, 6-2, in Chapel Hill.

Mojis and Cline are just the second doubles team to ever earn All-America honors at Carolina and the first since Cinda Gurney and Alisha Portnoy did so in 1993. They will face Courtney Nagle and Daria Panova of Oregon in the first round.

Tennessee's Vilmarie Castellvi is the No. 1 seed in the singles draw, while the Stanford pair of Lauren Barnikow and Erin Burdette received the No. 1 seed in the doubles event.
