WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The University of South Carolina athletics department has announced the times and ticket prices for the upcoming NCAA women's tennis regional to be held May 15 and 16 at USC's Maxcy Gregg Tennis Facility.

Wake Forest, the No. 2 seed, will face Virginia Tech at 10 a.m. on Saturday, while top seeded South Carolina will take on in-state rival Furman at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The Lady Gamecocks downed the Paladins earlier this season, 9-0, while the Deacons and Hokies didn't meet this year. The winners will play on Sunday at 2 p.m. for the right to move on to the NCAA Championships, to be held May 20-23 in Gainesville, Fla.

The Regional features four ranked teams with South Carolina (No. 14) holding the highest position. Wake Forest is ranked No. 17, while Virginia Tech is ranked 57th. Furman made the tournament via the Southern Conference's automatic bid.

Tickets for the Regional will be $2 for children and students and $5 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the USC Ticket Office or at the gate. Any further questions can be directed to the South Carolina Sports Information Department by calling 803-777-5204.
