Former Clemson women's soccer standout Nancy Augustyniak will be playing in her first WUSA All-Star game as a member of the U.S. team this Thursday. Augustyniak, who is in her third season with the Atlanta Beat along with twin sister Julie, was added to the American team as a reserve.

A three-year starter for Atlanta, Augustyniak has helped to lead the league's stingiest defense to a 0.78 goals against average this season. The 5-foot-5 defender has tallied six assists during her WUSA career. She was named Atlanta's 2002 Defensive Most Valuable Player.

The 2003 Hyundai WUSA All-Star Game will be televised on ESPN2 on Thursday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. ET at SAS Stadium in Cary, NC. The match features a U.S. vs. The World format. Fans can learn more about the game by logging on to http://www.wusa.com/allstargame/
