![]() NC Hall of Fame Inducts Page Marsh Lea and Vic Molodet May 16, 2001 NC State's head women's golf coach, Page Marsh Lea, and a standout guard for the Wolfpack in the 1950's, Vic Molodet, will be among six people inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame this evening. Long before she was hired as NC State's first women's golf coach, Page Marsh Lea was one of the nation's top amateur players. The former NCAA All-American won the North Carolina Women's Amateur championship six times. An All-ACC guard in 1955 and 1956, Molodet helped the Wolfpack win three conference titles during his stellar career, which ended with a scoring average of 15 points per game.
Joining Lea and Molodet in the Hall of Fame will be former UNC basketball star Brad Daugherty, former Wake Forest baseball coach Jack Stallings, Denton native and former Major League pitcher Max Lanier and Chowan College coaching legend Jim Garrison.
