The sixth-ranked and fifth-seeded Duke men's tennis team will host 33rd-ranked Clemson in second round action of the 2004 NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament on Sunday at 12 noon at Ambler Tennis Stadium.
The Blue Devils (20-7) advanced with a 4-0 win over Winthrop yesterday while the Tigers (23-11) carded a 4-0 victory over 37th-ranked Minnesota.
Duke and Clemson met back on March 28 in Durham, with the Blue Devils earning a 5-2 victory. The Tigers lead the all-time series with the Blue Devils by a 29-27 count. Duke and Clemson have met four times in NCAA Tournament play, with the Blue Devils winning in 1995 (4-1), 1996 (4-0), 1997 (4-1) and 1999 (4-0).
