NORMAN, Okla. - Duke's Matt Krauss has been named an All-America Scholar by
the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
In 2001, Krauss earned All-ACC honors while leading the Blue Devils in
stroke average (72.8).
All-America Scholars are recognized for their performances athletically and
scholastically. To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must be a junior
or senior academically, maintain a minimum grade-point average, compete in
at least 75 percent of his team's varsity competitive rounds, and maintain a
minimum stroke average set by the GCAA.
