NC State Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations Annabelle Vaughan has announced that Donal Ware has been named Assistant Director of Media Relations. Ware will work primarily with the football and men's basketball programs and will serve as editor of basketball game programs and several media guides.

Ware has spent the past two years as the Sports Information Director at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro. At A&T, he was responsible for the media relations efforts for all 16 sports. He also served as the radio play-by-play commentator for Aggie basketball and baseball.

The 1998 graduate of Morgan State University served as editor of his school newspaper, The Spokesman, for a year, and also worked for the Washington Post. He also served internships for Fox Sports and with Black Entertainment Television.
