Senior Brian Mance was the king of Homecoming in 2002 against Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons trailed by eight and drove to the Clemson 18 with under two minutes left, but on a third-and-two play, Mance stripped Wake Forest running back Chris Barclay inside the 10-yard-line. The ball rolled out of the endzone, giving Clemson possession, and the offense ran out the final 1:15 to preserve the victory.
