Duke University director of track and field Norm Ogilvie announced the incoming Blue Devil men's track and field and cross country class of 2007 on Friday, June 27.

Blue Devil Incoming Freshmen:

· Tommy Colven (Dallas TX): Undefeated in cross country his senior year. Won the National Jesuit Championship in St. Louis. Personal bests of 4:15 for 1,600m and 1:55 for 800m

· Dan Daly (Boca Raton, FL): Finished third in the Florida Relays as a senior on the track. Finished third in the Florida 1A state cross country championships. Personal best of 9:23 for 3,200m

· Jonathan Fay (Klamath Falls, OR): Won the pole vault at the Centennial Invitational and finished third at the Oregon state meet as a senior. Personal best of 15-3.

· Jonathan Fox (Flemington, NJ): Personal best of 9:30 for 3,200m

· Daniel King (Newton, MA): Massachusetts state record holder in the 300m. Finished second in the 400m at the 2003 New England Championships. Personal bests of 34.93 for 300m indoors and 21.7 for 200m and 48.96 for 400m outdoors.

· Keith Krieger (Marlton, NJ): Runner-up in the New Jersey meet of champions and finished twelfth at the Foot Locker Northeast Regionals in cross country. Personal best of 9:17.19 for 3,200m and 30:57.36 for 10,000m.

· Sean McDermott (West Hempstead, NY): Personal best of 9:38 for 3,200m

· Brett Morrell (Hagerstown, MD): Seven-time Maryland state champion in track & field. Personal best of 23-0 in the long jump, 14.7 for the 110 HH and 28.7 for 300 IH.

· Patrick Parish (Wheaton, IL): Personal best of 9:26.7 for 3,200m.

· Alex Romero (Albuquerque, NM): Won the New Mexico state cross country championship and 3,200m title on the track his senior year. Personal best of 9:02.77 for 3,200m

· Marco Salmen (Glenwood Springs, CO): Personal bests of 4:23.95 for 1,600m and 9:44.87 for 3,200m at altitude.

· Brett Taylor (San Jose, CA): Personal best of 169-0 in the discus.
