QUICKLY-- The Aggies finished their sixth season with a 6-11-1 overall record, 3-6 in Big West Conference action. USU tied for eighth in the BWC standings.

USU NOTABLES The Aggies' 6-11-1 record is Utah State's third-best mark in school history...Seven of the Aggies' 11 losses came by way of shutouts...Utah State's loss against Idaho was the first time in six games that the Aggies scored more than one goal in a game (USU defeated UC Riverside 3-0 on Oct. 12) and the first time in five losses that the Aggies were not shut out...The loss against the Vandals marked the first time this season that Utah State lost after scoring first in the game...This is the first time since 1998 that the Aggies have ended the season with a loss...Utah State handed league-leader Cal State Fullerton its only conference loss of the season so far (CSF faces off against UC Riverside on Friday).

2001 AGGIE RECORD BREAKERS... SCORING-- Amber Tracy has found her way into the Aggie record books. Her 15 season points put her at fourth-most by an Aggie in a season. Tracy is also in fourth place for goals in a season with seven and fifth for career goals with eight. The sophomore forward also knocked in two goals in a single game, as did freshman Heather Arnell. Tracy and Arnell are the eighth and ninth Aggies to accomplish this feat in the program's six seasons. Tracy and Megan Edge have moved into fourth and sixth place, respectively, for most shots taken in a season. Junior Brigid Turner's 17 career goals and 37 career points secures her a spot in second place for all-time most goals and points. Sara Cowley is tied for first place for most career assists with seven. DEFENSE--Goalkeepers Tracy Brady and Megan Mills combined for a record-high 15 saves in the game against Cal Poly. Mills has moved into fourth place in the Aggie record books with 29 career saves. TEAM--Utah State's goals this season (20) and points (49) are the fourth most earned in school history. The Aggies' nine assists are fifth most all-time. The team also notched 198 shots and 111 saves, both of which are the third highest all-time. USU's victories against UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton marked the first time in the season the Aggies had two consecutive wins and the first time in school history that the Aggies have shut out two teams in a row. With its 4-1 win over Idaho State, this year's team tied with the 1999 and 2000 teams for fourth place for most goals in a match with four. BIG WEST CONFERENCE--At the completion of the 2001 campaign, Utah State tied for eighth in the BWC.

AGGIE FIRSTS--Four Aggies posted their first career goals this season. Senior Becky Ward has knocked in three this year, one of which was the game-winning goal in the match against Nevada. Freshman Heather Arnell posted her first two career goals to lead USU to victory over UCSB. The Kaysville, Utah, navtive also recorded five shots against the Gauchos. Junior Michelle Eversman scored her first career goal in the game against Idaho State and scored another against Idaho. Freshman Claire Schend scored her first career goal against Washington.

SENIOR HIGHLIGHTS Brittany Baugh (Hyrum, Utah) D-Baugh saw action in 56 games during her career at Utah State, the second most games of anyone currently on the team. She contributed four shots this season. In 2000, she started eight games and was an all-Big West selection. Tracy Brady (Bountiful, Utah) GK-Brady notched 82 saves in 1,355 minutes of work this season, the second most minutes accrued by a goalkeeper in a single season at USU. Her 1,823 career minutes put her in third place for all-time minutes, while her 82 season saves and 110 career saves place her at first and third, respectively. Brady's 1.93 career goals allowed average is second-best in school history and the three shutouts she recorded this season are a record-high. Sara Buie Cowley (Sandy, Utah) MF/F-Cowley saw action in 67 games during her time as an Aggie. She played in all 18 games this season and contributed nine shots. Her 60 shots rank as fifth-most career shots in USU history. Kennon Roeber (Colorado Springs, Colo.) D-Roeber started all 18 games this season, taking 15 shots and scoring one goal. In 2000, she was named to the academic all-Big West team. Karoline Johnson (Salt Lake City, Utah) MF- Johnson saw action in nine games this season and played in a total of 25 games during her three years as an Aggie. She recorded a total of six shots. Katie Karlson (Taylorsville, Utah) MF- Karlson played in all but two of USU's 18 games this season. She took 10 shots this year, and took 10 last year for a total of 20 shots in her career at Utah State. She scored the game- winning goal against Idaho in the 2000 season and recorded one assist. Becky Ward (Irda, Utah) F- Ward recorded her first three career goals as an Aggie this year, one of which was the game-winning goal against Nevada. She played in all 18 games this season, earning the starting nod for five. Ward posted two assists and took 21 shots. She earned eight points, tying for the second most points earned by an Aggie this year.
