LOGAN, Utah - Volleyball player Erin Cartwright from Wellsville, Utah was named Utah State Athlete of the Week Monday.

Cartwright, a sophomore middle blocker, had an outstanding weekend as she led Utah State to a pair of home wins against Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside. Against the Titans, Cartwirght hit .346 with 11 kills and three blocks. Against UC Riverside, she led the team with 13 kills to go along with seven digs and hit a blistering .600 in the match.

For the weekend, Cartwright averaged 4.00 kills, 1.83 digs and 0.83 blocks per game as she hit .457 with only three attack errors.

The Aggies return to action against Weber State Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectum.

Soccer-Tracy Brady (Bountiful, Utah) . . . The senior goalkeeper recorded 13 saves this weekend leading her to set a USU record for saves in a season with 82. Her 1.63 GAA (career) is the best in USU history. Her three shutouts in 2001 ties a school record for season shutouts and is second on the career shutouts list.
