The Utah State volleyball team picked up its first Big West win of the season, defeating Idaho in five games, 30-27, 31-33, 27-20, 30-28 and 15-12. USU's record is now 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the conference.

The Aggies hit .250 as a team, including posting a .343 hitting percentage in the first game of the match. USU hit .277 in the second game, .306 in the third, and .104 and .269 in the fourth and fifth games, respectively.

Lisa Borom (Las Vegas, Nev.) led the Aggies' attack with 18 kills, two aces and 10 digs. Erin Cartwright (Hyrum, Utah) hit .243, and added nine digs, while setter Chelsi Neves (Ottow, Wyo.) contributed 61 assists, seven kills and 10 digs.

Utah State continues its three-game homestand Thursday, Sept. 27 against UC Santa Barbara at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 29 against Cal Poly at 4 p.m.
