WACO, Texas - Freshman forward Ginny Rosario-Tull was named the Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the Week for the second straight week, the league announced Tuesday.

During the week of Oct. 15-21, Rosario-Tull recorded five points. The true freshman from Mansfield, Texas assisted on the game-winning goal Friday against Colorado in a 3-0 Baylor win. Two days later, she recorded her second career multi-goal game, notching a pair of goals against Texas Tech as the Bears won, 7-0. In doing so, she became just the fourth player in program history to have more than one multiple-goal game in a career.

The freshman won the award last week after scoring two goals against Oklahoma State in the Bears' 3-2 extra-time victory Sunday.

Also Tuesday, the Big 12 named Texas A&M's Linsey Johnson Offensive Player of the Week and Nebraska's Erin Miller Defensive Player of the Week.

The Bears finish their 2001 Big 12 schedule this weekend on the road, playing at Missouri Friday at 7 p.m. and at Kansas Sunday at 1 p.m.
