Marina DiGiacomo
Old Dominion
Marina DiGiacomo, a midfielder for Old Dominion University's NCAA-champion field hockey team, has been named winner of the Honda Award. DiGiacomo led ODU to a 25-1 record and scored five goals in Final Four competition en route to the NCAA title.

A senior from Mendoza, Argentina, DiGiacomo led the nation in scoring with 63 goals and 25 assists (151 points). She ranks as the NCAA's all-time points leader with a career total of 414. She is an All-American selection, was named the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year and MVP. DiGiacomo is the fifth ODU field-hockey player to be honored with the Honda Award.
