What is Fans Only?
Fans Only is where the fans are the experts and where the fans play. It is the only sports destination on the Web built exclusively for the fan. fansonly.com provides everything the active sports fan needs: • Content – Your fantasy league opponents beware! Boasting over 5,000 sources, Fans Only supplies the in depth news, stats, and analysis of the teams, leagues, and players you love, from college to the pros. If it's not here, it didn't happen. • Community – What’s a fan without fellow fanatics? Connect with other fanatics, organize tailgates, debate the merits of the designated hitter, develop new rivalries, and decide who is an All Star and who is a Rookie in the Fans Only community. • Competition – Don't player hate, participate! Think you know who will win this week? Pick winners using GamePicker, and earn points and bragging rights. • Customization – No two fans are alike, and Fans Only allows you to tailor your experience to suit you. What is the Fans Only Pre-Season Challenge?
Our Pre-Season Challenge is a limited invite-only beta of hand selected sports fans from around the country. During this beta, we will be adding new functionality and testing the site before we make it available to everyone. This is your chance to use the site before the rest of the crowd and let us know what you think. Click here to provide us with your feedback and help shape the future of sports online.
Does it cost money to use Fans Only? No. Fans Only is free to use.
How do I get started? You must first register for Fans Only, which is a free process, by providing some limited personal data and creating a unique username that will become your Fans Only persona. We encourage users to complete the more detailed profile because the more information you provide, the more personalized and customized your Fans Only experience will become.
Once you register, you can begin creating your own personal tabs by selecting the ‘Add Tab’ link located in the upper right below the tab lineup. Activate the ‘Add Content’ console located on the left of each page to add content modules to the active tab. Your Fans Only experience will begin to take shape as you customize your site with meaningful tabs and add relevant content to the tabs. How tabs and modules work is discussed in the “Tabs & Modules” section below.
The best way to get started is to start playing around with the tabs and adding content modules. Rest assured, you can always delete content modules and tabs so there is very little risk of messing things up.
Why do I need to register? Signing up with Fans Only is required before you are able to enjoy any of the site's features and build your personalized tabs. When signing up, please provide accurate information and to review the Terms of Use. Click here if you are having problems registering.
Why do I need to be at least 14 years old? In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), registered users must be at least 14 years of age to register for or use the content, products or services available on fansonly.com.
Are there username and password restrictions? Your username must be unique and have no spaces. If you select a username that isn’t unique – meaning someone else has already registered under that username – we will let you know and ask that you select another name. Your password must be at least 5-10 letters or numbers.
Fans Only registration requires a valid email address? Are there any restrictions? Fans Only requires a valid & unique email address. You can’t register more than once using the same email. If you want to create another user name, you will be required to provide a different email address.
Help me get used to the Fans Only website.
The Site Header is located at the top of the page. It is where users can sign in or register, and search the Fans Only website. The Tab Lineup is located below the site header area. It is where a signed-in user can view their tabs or pages, add read-only tabs prepared by Fans Only or other users, or create new, custom pages. Please note that there are also links right below the tab lineup. These links are critical to help you manage your account and include ‘My Profile’, ‘My Gamepicker’, ‘Create a Tab’, ‘Delete Tab’ and ‘Send to a Friend’. These links are detailed later in the FAQs. The Add Content console is to the far left of the screen in a minimized state until clicked. Once clicked, it expands to display the menu of content options for each tab or page. Using this console, a signed-in user can add content either in the form of a tab or an individual content module within an active customizable tab. The Body is the content area located below the tab lineup where content loads for the active tab. All added content modules will display in the body. The Footer is located at the bottom of every page and provides useful admin features and services such as links to privacy policy, user agreement, support, etc.What browsers does Fans Only support? Fans Only supports the following browsers: • On Macs: Firefox 1.5+, Safari 2.0+ • On PCs: Firefox 1.5+, IE 6+
How do I search? Fans Only search allows you to quickly and easily find teams, people, tailgates, etc. by name. Simply type the search terms into the Search box located in the top right corner of each page and hit ‘Search’. Search results will be presented based on your terms.
How do I connect with other Fans Only users with similar interests? When you search, Fans Only will present you with everything related to your search including users who have related tabs, etc. Fans Only also makes recommendations based on your personal criteria such as Favorite Teams. note: this is a feature of the buddies module when it’s empty and the buddies console. I’m not sure if we should discuss recommendations when we’re talking about search.

What is Home Field? Home Field is the first stop for using Fans Only. There are two main functions for Home Field: Top Stories and Fans Only information. See what’s happening in the sports world or find out who’s online or who’s topping the Leaderboard. Also, our editorial team will continually be working to improve and update Home Field so it stays relevant and includes all the information you need to enjoy your Fans Only experience.
Why can’t I edit or delete Home Field? Home Field is designed to provide you with a snapshot of latest sports news while also improving your Fans Only experience. This page changes frequently and will help you manage your site. Consider it your coach for your Fans Only team.

Which sports are covered by Fans Only? Fans Only currently offers over 5000 sources for sports statistics, schedules, news and headlines, and more.

What is a “tab” vs. a “module”?
There are two types of content – ‘tabs’ and ‘modules’. ‘Tabs’ are individual pages that include relevant content ‘modules’ containing critical information such as news, stats, schedules, etc. Some tabs are read-only meaning you cannot customize them; while others are created and customized by you using the ‘Add Content’ console. You can create as many tabs as you want to track top news on specific a sport, team, player, rivalry, etc. For example, if you are a New York sports fan, you can create a tab with content focused solely on New York teams.
Which tabs are read-only and not customizable? Most tabs are customizable. However, each user on Fans Only has a ‘Home Field’ tab created by Fans Only and designed to maximize your user experience. It cannot be modified. Fans Only has also developed official Team Tabs that bring you the latest updates on your favorite teams. It is a jump start page for you and while not customizable, you can copy the page and modify it to better suit your needs.
How do I add a tab? Click ‘Create a Tab’ option below the tab lineup. You can add as many tabs as you would like.
What is the Fans Only Playbook and how can the templates help me? Develop your game plan with pre-built Playbook templates developed by the Fans Only team. Rather than starting from scratch with blank tabs, use some of our more popular template tabs to jumpstart your Fans Only experience. By adding the template tabs to your tab lineup, you immediately have access to our pre-selected content modules. You can then add, delete or rearrange the tabs to suit your needs and interests. The Playbook module is available on the Home Field page – the Fans Only home page.
How do I edit a tab? Click on the tab to activate it. Then, double-click the tab and it will activate a Fans Only pop up where you can edit the tab name. If the tab is customizable, you can further edit the tab by adding content (via the Add Content menu) or modifying the modules within the tab.
How do I delete a tab? There are two ways to delete a tab: • When on the tab you want to delete, click on the ‘Delete Tab’ link located on the upper right of the page right below the tab lineup. OR • Click on the tab to activate it. Then, double-click the tab and it will activate a Fans Only pop up where you can check the box to delete the tab.
How do I add content to a tab? Click the ‘Add Content’ console on the left of each page. You will be presented with a menu of content options you can add to the active tab. Note that any content you add will be added to whatever tab you were on when you activated the ‘Add Content’ console.
How much control do I have over how a content module looks? Content modules have the following functions indicated by icons in the upper right-hand corner of the modules title bar: refresh ( ), edit ( ), minimize ( )/maximize ( ), and delete ( ). • Refresh ( ) allows you to update the content module so you can ensure the information is up-to-date. • Edit ( ) allows you to customize the module’s header background and text colors using a web-safe color palette. Users can also edit the module’s title. • Edit ( ) allows you to rename the module. • Minimize ( )/Maximize ( ) allows you to shrink or expand the actual module. • Delete ( )allows you to delete a module from the page.
How do I get rid of a content module on a tab? Simply click the ‘ ’ icon in the title bar of the module to delete the module from the active tab. If there is no ‘ ’ icon, then the module cannot be deleted. You can also minimize the module so you still have access to the information while taking up less real estate on the page.
How can I refresh a module to ensure it contains the latest information? Simply click the ‘ ’ icon in the title bar of the module to refresh the content and ensure you have the latest information loaded.
I like a module on a read-only tab. How can I add it to another tab? Two ways. You can drag and drop it on the new tab or you can click the ‘Add Content’ console on the left of each page to add it.
Can I rearrange the order of tabs in my tab lineup? Yes! You can rearrange the order of your tabs in the tab lineup simply by dragging and dropping the tab you would like to move. Please note – you cannot move your ‘Home Field’ tab.
Can I rearrange the location of content modules within a tab? You can edit the layout of your custom tabs at any time. Simply use your mouse to drag and drop the modules anywhere on the page. Please note that some modules may be restricted to either the right or left column based on their size. Also, you cannot edit Fans Only created tabs that you have added. If you try moving a module to another location on the page and it ‘snaps’ back, you will know that the relocation is not allowed.
Why can’t I edit some tabs? You can edit any tab you create or copy. You can’t edit another user’s tab or Fans Only-created tabs. If you like another user’s tab or a Fans Only created tab, simply click on ‘Copy Tab’ in the upper right below the tab lineup and it will be copied and added to your tab lineup. You can then edit as necessary.
What happens when I tag content I create? Tagging is extremely valuable to you and the rest of the Fans Only community. Tagging allows your content to be added to our search which continually improves our search functionality and helps all users find meaningful content. It helps us successfully recommend content to you and other users.
What is the Headlines module? The 'Headlines' module is a module that aggregates newsfeeds, blogs, user contributed feeds, etc. into one module on your tab. It is extremely useful because it allows you to view all relevant sports stories from around the web without having to go to each website.
Where does Fans Only get the feeds for the Headlines module? Fans Only has not only partnered with top sports data & information companies, we have also aggregated many feeds throughout the web. You are welcome to use our library of feeds within your 'Headline' module.
While we are confident we are bringing you top feeds, we know there are other great feeds spanning all sports. As such, we also allow you to pull in external RSS feeds not currently included in our library. So, if you have a favorite news source or blogger, simply add their RSS feed to the 'Headlines' module under 'Create a Feed' and their content will be added.
Plus, adding your own feeds not only help you, it helps other users too. Any feed you add, we add to our library. That way, other users can have access to your great finds on the web & you can have access to theirs. Since you are the true fans, your feeds are invaluable to helping improve the Fans Only experience.
Can I add an RSS feed to a 'Headlines' module? Absolutely! And we encourage you to do so! Simply add their RSS feed to the 'Headlines' module under 'Create a Feed' and the content will be added to your tab. Any feed you add, we add to our library. That way, other users can have access to your great finds on the web & you can have access to theirs.
What does 'Create a Feed' mean within the 'Headlines' module? 'Create a Feed' allows you to add RSS feeds to your custom tabs.
If I add an RSS feed, is it added to the Fans Only inventory so other users can also enjoy it? Yes! Now other users can enjoy your favorite RSS feeds too.
How do I view stories for my Favorite Teams? From the 'Add Content' console, select 'Headlines' which activates the Headlines console. Search for newsfeeds for your favorite teams, click the 'Add' icon and the feed will be added to the module. While you cannot add the 'Headlines' module to the Fans Only Home Field Page or a Fans Only Team tab, you can copy the tab and then add the 'Headlines' module if you wish. You can also pull in external RSS feeds not currently included in our library. So, if you have a favorite news source or blogger for your favorite team, simply add their RSS feed to the 'Headlines' module under 'Create a Feed' and their content will be added.
Do I have control over how the headlines are displayed? Not at this time. As Fans Only evolves, we will offer even more features and customization options to users so they have even more control over their Fans Only experience and layout.

What is a Team Tab? 'Team Tabs' are pages created and managed by the Fans Only team. They cannot be edited, but they can be copied and then modified. We recommend 'Team Tabs' to you based on your list of 'Favorite Teams'. They are team specific and include content and information we think is the most relevant for that particular team.
How do I build my list of Favorite Teams? Fans Only provides a wide range of sports content and data across many sports and leagues. Our 'Team Tabs' include scores, stats, schedules, standings, news and more. To add a 'Favorite Team', open the 'Add Content' console and select 'Teams', which activates the 'Teams' console. Search for your favorite teams or use the list of recommended teams. Click the 'Add' icon next to a team, which adds the 'Team Tab' to your tab lineup and adds the team to your 'My Favorite Teams' module. You can add as many or as few teams as you want. For each team you add, a separate tab is added to your tab lineup.
Can I add, edit or delete modules from a Team Tab? While you can't edit the 'Team Tabs', you can copy the tab and then modify as necessary. To do so, simply click the 'Copy Tab' link on the upper right below the tab lineup and begin editing as necessary.
Why does the Add Content console disappear when I am on a Team Tab? Since you cannot edit Fans Only-created tabs such as 'Team Tabs', the console does not appear. You either need to copy the tab or activate another tab on your menu to get the console to reappear.
Can I get individual team modules to appear on a custom tab? Yes! From the 'Add Content' console, select 'The Numbers' which gives you the flexibility to add team modules ala carte to the active tab. That way, you can pick and choose among the variety of team content such as schedules, statistics, standings, rosters, and more. You can add as few or as many team-related modules as you want to truly customize your active tab.
What is GamePicker, and how do I use it? 'GamePicker' is an innovative community feature that allows fans to predict game outcomes and wager virtual 'PickerPoints'. All users will have a 'GamePicker' link - located on the upper left below the tab lineup. Users start with 1,000 'PickerPoints'. You can wager as few or as many points as you want on any single game. If your team wins, you win points based on Fans Only line. If your team loses, you only lose the points you wagered. Earn bragging rights within the Fans Only community. Challenge your friends to a friendly wager. Strengthen your reputation within Fans Only with a strong 'GamePicker' record and high accumulation of 'PickerPoints'.
What if I lose all my PickerPoints? Your initial 'PickerPoints' are yours to win or lose. However, we will offer opportunities to earn back points through referrals and conversions. We will announce these programs when it becomes available.
How many PickerPoints am I awarded if I make a correct pick? The amount of 'PickerPoints' varies based on several factors. Fans Only uses an algorithm that takes into account odds, number of wagers, etc., so your winnings will change each time.
How many PickerPoints do I lose when I make an incorrect pick? You only lose what you wagered.
What is a Fanatic? Fanantics are friends that you invite to join your community on Fans Only. They are your personal list of friends in Fans Only.
I created a great tab and want to share with other friends. How do I do that? Notice the 'Send to a Friend' icon/link available on the upper right below the tab lineup. Click the link, which will take you to an online form. Fill out the email addresses of your friends separated by commas and type a personal message. Your friends will receive the email and be instructed to click through the link to view your tab.
Can we add other people's tabs to our own tab lineup? Yes, you can add other peoples' tabs to your own tab lineup. To do this, click the 'Copy as Tab' icon/link available in the right hand corner below your tab lineup.
How can I find out if my friends are already members of Fans Only? Login to Fans Only and click the 'Add Content' console. Select 'Fanatics' from the menu of options, which activates the 'Fanatics' console. You can search for friends by first name, last name or username.
How do I add a Fans Only user as a Fanatic? There are two ways to add friends - from the 'Fanatics' console in the 'Add Content' console or from a user's profile tab.
From the 'Fanatics' console, click the 'Add' icon next to any username you are interested in adding as a friend. A Fans Only message will be sent to the user. Once the user accepts the request, he will be added to your 'Fanatics' List. Keep in mind that users are no under no obligation to accept your request. If you come across a user of interest somewhere on the site, click through to their profile page and click the link to 'Add me as a Buddy' in the 'About Me' Module.Is the friend immediately added as a Fanatic when I make the request? No. When you find a Fans Only user you are interested in and click 'Add' button, you are only requesting the user to be added to your Fanatic list. The user must accept your request to be added to your 'Fanatics' list.
Is there a way to cancel a Fanatic request? No. There is no way to cancel a Fanatic request once it has been made.
How can I see a list of all my Fanatics? Your profile page includes a module entitled 'My Fanatics.' Here you can see all of your Fanatics.
How do I connect with other Fans Only users with similar interests? When you search, Fans Only will present you with everything related to your search including users who have related tabs, etc. Fans Only also makes recommendations based on your personal criteria such as Favorite Teams.
How can I control who adds me as a Fanatic? Fans Only is a sports community site that encourages interaction among users; however, you are under no obligation to accept a Fanatic request. If you receive one that you don't want to accept, deny the request and you will not be added to their list.
How do I remove a Fanatic? If you would like to remove a friend, please navigate to your profile page. In the 'My Fanatics' module, you will see the 'Remove' link at the bottom of the page. If you select this option, you will remove the Fanatic from your list of Fanatics. You will need to follow the 'Add a Fanatic' process if you wish to add this user again.
If I remove someone from my Fanatics List, will they be notified? The user will not be notified if you decide to remove them from your Fanatics List.
What happens if I ignore a Fanatic request? Nothing happens. You will not be added to their Fanatic list unless you explicitly accept the request. Simply delete the request from your list of messages.
How/where I can keep track of pending Fanatic requests? From your Fanatics List, there will be a link to pending requests for your reference.
What are tailgates and how do I use them? 'Tailgates' are virtual groups that like-minded fanatics join to create community, share sports interests, and rant and rave about their favorite teams. It is a haven for sports fans to share in the ups and downs of fandom. 'Tailgates' are added as tabs to your Fans Only experience. You can join existing tailgates or create your own. Each 'Tailgate' tab automatically includes the following content modules; however, you can edit the 'Tailgate' tab however you wish. You can move content modules around by dragging-and-dropping modules to different places on the page. You can add other modules from the 'Add Content' console or remove existing modules from the tab. Basically, Fans Only provides the building blocks, but you customize the 'Tailgate' tab however you wish to reflect your group's passion.
Default Tailgate Tab modules include the following: • About the Group • Roster • Discussion Forum • Latest Activity • GamePicker Leaderboard • Headlines • Poll • Photos/Video (coming soon) • Expert Rating Leaderboard (coming soon)
How do I create a Tailgate? Once you are logged in, click the 'Add Content' icon in the upper left-hand corner below the tab lineup. This will open the 'Add Content' console. From the menu, select 'Tailgates'. Follow the instructions on the 'Tailgate' console to set up your team.
Once you type in all the required information, click 'Create Tailgate' button, which will close up the console and immediately add the newly created 'Tailgate' tab to your tab lineup.How do I join an existing tailgate? Once you are logged in, activate the 'Add Content' console in the upper left-hand corner of any Fans Only web page. From the menu, select "Tailgates" which activates the Tailgates console.
On the upper left side of the page, Fans Only will recommend relevant tailgates based on your interests and location. Or, you can use the search feature on the right side of the page to find tailgates of interest. From the list of results, click 'Add' icon to add the tailgate tab to your Fans Only menu.How many tailgates can I create and/or join? There are no limits to the number of tailgates you can create or join.
How many members can be in a tailgate? There are no limits to the number of members in a tailgate.
Who can I invite to join my tailgate? You can invite anyone to join your tailgate, but users must be registered Fans Only users before they can join the tailgate.
Can I invite people who do not use Fans Only to join my tailgate? Yes, you can invite external friends to join your tailgate; however, they will need to become registered Fans Only users before they can join the tailgate.
Can people from other websites join my tailgate? Anyone can join your tailgate; however, they will have to register for Fans Only, which is a free service.
How do I send a message to my entire tailgate? From the 'Roster' module on your Tailgate Tab, there is a link to email the entire tailgate at once. The email will be sent as a message to the users' Fans Only Fan Mail mailboxes with notifications sent to their email addresses of record.
What if I want to leave the tailgate I created? A moderator may leave his tailgate; however, he will be prompted to pick a new moderator from the list of active members. The new moderator will be assigned with a message sent to their Fans Only Fan Mail mailbox and an alert sent to his email address of record.
To leave a tailgate, go to the Roster Module on your Tailgates Tab and click 'Leave this Tailgate' next to your username.What happens to my tailgate if I decide to delete my Fans Only account? If a moderator deletes their entire Fans Only account, the system will automatically assign a new moderator based on the most veteran member (date joined). The new moderator will be notified as described above.
How do I delete my tailgate? You cannot delete a tailgate that has at least one other active member. You will need to leave the tailgate instead and assign a new moderator from the list of active members. If your tailgate does not yet have any other members, you can delete it by clicking 'Delete Tailgate' from the 'About Us' module on the Tailgate Tab.
Who can access my tailgate's discussion forum? Since all tailgates are public right now, anyone can see the discussion forum within your tailgate.
Who can post to my tailgate's discussion forum? Any tailgate member can post to the forum. Other Fans Only users cannot post to a forum they are not a member of.
How do I recruit members to join my tailgate? From the Roster Module on the Tailgate Tab, there is link at the bottom to invite more friends.
Can a non-Fans Only registered user join my tailgate? No. Only registered Fans Only users can join tailgates. You can invite external friends; however, they will need to register for Fans Only before joining the tailgate.
How are 'Fanatics' different from 'Tailgates'? Tailgates are virtual communities or groups within Fans Only. They center on a common interest such as a sports team. It's a place for like-minded fans to gather and share their interests. Fanatics, on the other hand, are your personal list of friends in Fans Only.
Can I add anyone else's Discussion Forum to one of my custom tabs? Yes. You are welcome to add existing forums to your tabs. To add existing forums, go to the Add Content Console and select 'Tailgates' which activates the Tailgates console. Search existing forums or choose a recommended forum. Forums by definition are all public.
If I create a forum, do I have any control over who can add the forum to their tabs? No. Forums by definition are public. Any user can add any forum to a tab.
I created a forum and want it to appear on more than one tab. How do I do that? You can create a forum and move it to another tab by dragging it to that tab, but currently there is no way to copy the forum to another tab.
How do I send a message? From the 'Mailbox' module, click the 'Compose' message. Type a Fans Only username as the recipient and your message. You can only send messages to Fans Only users using their usernames.
Can I use my Fans Only Fan Mailto send messages to any friends? Fans Only Fan Mail can only be used to send/receive messages to/from other Fans Only users.
What happens when I message someone? Your message is delivered to their Fans Only Mailbox. Depending on the user's messaging settings, they may receive an alert to his standard email letting him know they have a message waiting. Alternatively, there will be alerts throughout his Fans Only site reminding users that they have messages waiting.
How can I forward a message? Fans Only Fan Mail does not support message forwarding at this time.
How can I attach a file to a message? Fans Only Fan Mail does not support file attachments at this time.
Can I spell-check my outgoing messages? The Fans Only Fan Mail is not designed to be a full-service email client. It is designed to be a user-friendly, private messaging service to assist users in communicating with each within the privacy and security of Fans Only.
Can I recover a deleted message? No. Once you delete a message, it is permanent.
Who can message me? Any Fans Only user can message you provided you allow for private messaging in your profile. To change your messaging settings, login, click on the 'My Trading Card' link located on the upper left below the tab lineup, click 'Edit My Trading Card', and scroll down to 'Private Messaging Settings'.
Can I include links in messages? You can include links to anything on the Web such as web page addresses and email addresses. The links will be automatically formatted.
How many people can I message at once? Currently, there not any limits to the number of Fans Only users you can message at once; however, if we find that users are abusing this feature, we will implement restrictions. Fans Only Fan Mail should not be used to perpetuate Spam, annoying chain letters, or any breach of web etiquette. Can I import my Fans Only messages directly into my standard email? You can only receive Fans Only messages from within your Fans Only site. However, you can manage your profile settings to receive alerts to your standard email so you know when you receive a message to your Fans Only mailbox. To manage your message settings, login, go to 'My Trading Card', click link to 'Edit My Trading Card', and scroll down to 'Private Messages Settings'.

How will I know when new features are available? Generally, our 'Chalk Talk' module on the Home Field page (or Fans Only landing page) contains information on what's new, how to use modules, etc. We will be constantly adding new features, so keep checking this module often. Also, in some cases - like when we think we are launching something really really cool - we may even send you an email to let you know.

I am trying to register and it tells me that I must be at least 14 years old to register, which I am, but I still keep getting the message. It is likely that someone else tried registering on the same computer, but was not over 14 years old; therefore, a cookie was set to restrict access. You will need to clear your cookies. Then close and restart your browser, and try registering again.

I forgot my username or password. From the login page, click 'Forgot login?' to request your login information to be sent to you via your email address of record.

I still can't login. If you can't login, you can try the following: • Have you typed in the correct username and password? • Are cookies enabled on your browser? • Are Fans Only cookies allowed by your firewall and spyware protection programs? • If other people share the same computer, have you deleted existing cookies? I can't login due to site maintenance. Site Maintenance usually means we are making an improvement to the site or updating the database where your account is stored. While we're doing this, you will not be able to access your account. In most instances, this maintenance will not last too long. A few other things to note: " After the maintenance is over, you will still be able to login with the same password. " Your profile and account will not be affected by the maintenance. " There is no need to notify us of the site maintenance.
How do I manage my account? You can manage your account on the 'My Trading Card' page. Simply login to your account, click on the 'My Trading Card' link located on the upper left below the tab lineup. Once there, you can do many things including editing your profile, managing your Fanatics (friends), etc.
How can I change my email address?
You can change your email address by accessing the My Trading Card page. Select your existing email address, and change it to a new, valid email address. Click 'Submit'.How can I change my password? Login to your account, click on the 'My Trading Card' link located on the upper left below the tab lineup and click 'Edit My Trading Card' from the 'About Me' module.
How do I change my username? Username is not editable. It is a unique key to identify each user.
How do I add/change my photo? Want to use something other than our logo to represent yourself? Simply login, click on the 'My Trading Card' link located on the upper left below the tab lineup, click link to 'Edit My Trading Card', and scroll down to 'Picture' section. Browse your computer's files to find the appropriate picture. Select the photo to upload. If the picture is an acceptable size and file type, it will display.
What are the size requirements for my photo? Photos need to be 64X64 pixels, 30 KB and in a web-friendly, optimized format such as .gif or .jpg.

How do I edit My Trading Card? What fields can I edit in My Trading Card? Login to your account, click on the 'My Trading Card' link located on the upper left below the tab lineup, and click 'Edit My Trading Card' from the 'About Me' module. You can edit everything about yourself except your username.
I don't want to receive any emails from fansonly.com. How do I do that? We recommend that you allow Fans Only to notify you when you receive messages to your Fans Only mailbox; otherwise, Fanatic (friend) and tailgate requests might accumulate and go unanswered. If you would prefer not to receive any emails from Fans Only, do as follows: login, click on the 'My Trading Card' link located on the upper left below the tab lineup, click link to 'Edit My Trading Card', and scroll down to 'Private Messages Settings'. Check 'Never' next to the option 'Receive e-mail for unread messages.'
I'm no longer receiving emails from fansonly.com, but I want to. First, you should check to see if you are supposed to be receiving the emails. To manage your message settings, login, click on the 'My Trading Card' link located on the upper left below the tab lineup, click link to 'Edit My Trading Card', and scroll down to 'Private Messages Settings'. Select how you would like to be notified of Fans Only messages - daily or every time you receive a message.
If you are supposed to be receiving notification alerts and they are not making it to you, they must be getting filtered somewhere. Check your spam or junk folders to see if your email program is hiding them. If they aren't in there, contact your email provider and ask them if Fans Only correspondence is being blocked. Be sure to add '*@fansonly.com' to your email allow lists.How to I deactivate my account? To delete your Fans Only account, contact the Fans Only support team. You will be notified by email when our account has been closed.
Any content you submitted to the Fans Only community such as posts, threads, replies and comments will remain in Fans Only. However, you will be removed from Tailgate Rosters, GamePicker Leaderboard, Fanatics Lists, and other places where your individual identity is displayed.How do I reactivate my account? To reactivate your account, simply register again. Since we do not maintain information on accounts that have been deactivated, you will need to rebuild your tabs, re-invite friends, etc.

I would like to use Fans Only for my circle of friends, but not necessarily let strangers see My Trading Card and other personal content. What can I do to protect my privacy? fansonly.com respects your privacy; however, it is a community website bringing avid sports fan together to rant and rave. While you can control the display of your personal information such as name, location, gender age, etc. on your profile, your 'sports identity' will remain public such as any public tabs you create, your favorite teams, GamePicker history, username and uploaded photo.
Will others know when I view their profiles? No. There is no tracking that identifies when others have viewed their profile.
What if I think a user is violating the Terms of Use? Fans Only takes abuse reports and security very seriously. Anytime you see anything on the site that you think is in violation of our Terms of Use, please report by clicking here. These reports will be reviewed by Fans Only and are strictly confidential.
How do I report abuse? Click here if you find abusive content and would like to report it to Fans Only. Fans Only investigates these reports and makes a determination as to whether or not the content should stay up. All abuse reports on Fans Only are confidential.
