NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Britt Themann scored 17 points as Tulane's reserves scored 38 points to lead the Green Wave to a 76-29 rout of Buffalo in Friday night's opener of the Tulane/Doubletree Classic.

Themann went 5-for-7 on 3-point attempts as Tulane (10-2) went 10-for-19 from long range en route to its fifth straight victory.

Teana McKiver added 16 points and 11 rebounds for Tulane, which finished with a 53-34 rebounding advantage. Sarah Goree added 11 points.

Jess Kochendorfer's 13 points led Buffalo (4-6).
