WEST POINT, N.Y. - The renewal deadline for Army football season ticket holders to retain their seating is set for Friday, June 14. Following that date, season ticket seating location for the same seats will not be guaranteed.

Army "A" Club members, season ticket-holders and cadets wishing to purchase Army-Navy tickets must also make payment by June 14. Army's ticket allotment for the Army-Navy Game is approaching a sellout so it is imperative that those wishing to purchase tickets for the service academy classic do so by Friday.

Season ticket holders and mini-plan buyers are permitted to purchase a like number of tickets for the Navy game based upon availability. Army-Navy tickets are $40 each, and are available exclusively to football season ticket holders, Army "A" Club members and current members of the Corps of Cadets. For more ticket information, please contact the Army Ticket Office at 1-877- TIX-ARMY.

Army kicks off its third season under head coach Todd Berry and fifth as a member of Conference USA on Sept. 7 when the Black Knights host Holy Cross. It will mark the first meeting between the longtime eastern rivals since 1994 and the first time Army has included a Division I-AA opponent on its schedule in five years.

For the first time, the schedule features eight games against Conference USA foes, up one from last fall, with four of those league opponents invading Michie Stadium. Included in that group is two-time defending Conference USA champion Louisville. The high- powered Cardinals have made three consecutive postseason bowl appearances and finished last year ranked 16th nationally in the the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll.

In addition to Louisville, Conference USA powers Southern Miss, TCU and UAB will all play before the West Point faithful this fall. It will mark the first-ever visit to Michie Stadium for TCU, while Southern Miss and UAB will be playing on Army's home field for the second time in history.

The Black Knights conclude their six-game 2002 home slate on Nov. 9 when they begin their quest for the Commander in Chief's Trophy against service academy foe Air Force. It will mark the 37th edition of the spirited service academy rivalry and just the 17th at West Point.
