HAMMOND, La. (AP) - Hector Romero had 22 points and 11 rebounds Saturday, and New Orleans seized a 30-19 halftime lead and coasted to a 58-47 victory over Southeastern Louisiana.
New Orleans (4-6) also coverted 24 fouls by Southeastern (1-4) into a 25-11 foulshooting advantage against the Lions, whose starters contributed just 24 points.
Reserve Marcus Smith scored 10 points and Derrick Franklin also had 11 rebounds for Southeastern.
